Case 1: The Columbine Massacre

On April 20, 1999, two students at Columbine High School in Colorado, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, went on a shooting rampage that left 13 people dead and 24 others wounded. The two shooters were both 18 years old at the time of the massacre.

Harris and Klebold had been planning the attack for months. They stockpiled weapons and ammunition, and they even wrote a manifesto outlining their plans. On the day of the shooting, they entered the school and began shooting at students and teachers in the library.

The Columbine massacre was one of the deadliest school shootings in American history. It shocked the nation and led to a renewed debate about gun control and school safety.

Case 2: The Murder of James Bulger

On February 12, 1993, two 10-year-old boys, Jon Venables and Robert Thompson, abducted and murdered 2-year-old James Bulger in Liverpool, England.

Venables and Thompson led Bulger away from a shopping mall and took him to a railway line. They tortured him for hours before finally killing him by smashing his head in with a brick.

The murder of James Bulger was one of the most shocking and disturbing crimes in British history. It led to a public outcry and a review of the juvenile justice system.
